I've been on a cooking kick lately. My youngest has been home sick most of the week so there has been little time to lock myself up in my crafty room so I've been in the kitchen making meals for the week.
I heart cooking!
I don't heart baking!
Cooking is more my style...you dump stuff in and you can adjust it to your own tastes. Baking requires exact measurements and patience. This is why I rarely cook desserts...most of them require baking.
A co-worker told me about this super simple and de-lish recipe that only requires 3 ingredients!!!
*Yellow Cake Mix
*Frozen Berries (I used blueberries and black raspberries and I frozen this summer)
*A can of Sprite (you can use Diet Sprite too)
All you need to do is put the berries on the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish, sprinkle the powered cake mix over the berries and pour the sprite on top of the cake mix. DON'T MIX!
Cover with foil and bake @350 for 20 minutes. Remove foil, continue baking 40-60 minutes until "set". Let cool.
Apparently it is a Weight Watchers recipe, but it is so good and SUPER EASY!!!
