How thoughtful of Santa to take time out of his busy, busy schedule to leave the girls a special treat. They were SUPER excited to see what he brought them!
They couldn't believe that Santa brought them their very own elf! They aptly named her Elfie and she has been welcomed into our family with big smiles and love!
If you're not familiar with Elf On The Shelf it's a magical idea! Your very own elf comes with a book letting you know their story. You get to name your elf and they become part of your family. Each night your elf magically goes back to the North Pole and reports to Santa, letting him know whether you have been naughty or nice and then returns to your house in the morning. You know that your elf has gone because each morning she's in a different spot. They can't talk, but you can talk to them, and you can't touch them because they will lose their magic and won't be able to travel to see Santa. When Santa comes on Christmas Eve he takes your elf home but they will magically appear the following year around Christmas time.
We left Elfie in her box last night and when we were all asleep she made her journey to the North Pole.
